IDS reports sales increase far above industry average

Above-average results in 2018 IDS Corporate Management Daniel Seiler, Jürgen HartmannThe sales growth of IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH remained above average at about 20 percent even in 2018. Sales rose very strongly with approx. 50 percent in Asia, but we also recorded growth of about 20 percent in the USA and Europe. The company is creating many investments for 2019, adding at the headquarters in Obersulm.

"The investments in new branches are paying off," explains Jürgen Hartmann, company founder and owner. "We now make more than 50 percent of our sales in foreign countries." IDS cameras with USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 interfaces are among the bestsellers. The powerful improve in incoming orders (24%) as well as the great interest in our publicized product designs keep to cause optimism. Since its foundation in 1997 as a two-man company, IDS has evolved into an independent, ISO-certified family business with more than 280 employees. With divisions in the USA, Japan, South Korea and UK as well as offices in Europe, IDS is represented internationally.
